The Economic Geography analyses the economic activities with a territorial vision, endowing to the space and the society that inhabits it of a greater leadership in the configuration of areas devoted to a determinate economic activity. By this reason, the space and the society include in the economic studies like elements indisolubles of the economic activity.
It will insist in local questions of economy put that, to the margin of his speciality, the student of Teaching has to form like teacher of Primary Education and for this establishes the need that they know the mechanisms that control the economic operation of his more next surroundings.

Economic geography is an asignatura given in the Diplomatura of Teaching, speciality of foreign tongue. The big relation, and even dependency, that the economic activities are supported by the territory does of the Economic Geography one of the branches of the most important Geography in the ordination of the territory and in the explanation of the economic phenomena with a space optics.
The aim of this asignatura is to offer to the student, and future professor, a basic knowledge on the norms that govern the relations between the society, the territory and the economic activities, and like the influence of the action of the man and of the half generates important economic inequalities in the territory.
1. SPACE ORGANISATION OF THE ECONOMIC SYSTEM. Introduction to the Economic Geography. Economy and society. Geography of the Production and Geography of the Consumption. Identification of the productive sectors. The concentration of the economic power. The deslocalización of the productive activity. The new actors: companies multinationals. The freedom to buy and sell. The market: the big transformation.
The asignatura in his theoretical part, with 2.5 credits, is oriented to the study of the relations between society, economy and territory. At the same time it will insist in local questions of economy put that, to the margin of his speciality, the student of Teaching has to form like teacher of Primary Education and for this establishes the need that they know his more next surroundings. For the exhibition of the contents will give priority to the participatory methods in which the students can build his own knowledges and learning by means of the interactuación between the alumnado and the realisation of debates on subjects treated in class.
Along the course will realise a minimum of a practice by subject, being able to arrive to a maximum of three. In occasions, the practice will realise the same day of his delivery by what the student will have the practical hours to be able to realise it. The practices will have relation with the contents that have given inside the same subject, being able to be a comment of text, the analysis of a chart, the summary of a video or a personal reflection of a subject that have debated in the classroom.
Besides, the students will realise a practical work on a subject that will agree with the professor. According to the number of enrolled, fits the possibility to form teams of work (maximum of three) with what his components will assume the qualification that award him to the group. The professor will be able to request, case of not agreeing with the works realised, the materials and aim that they have used the students in the realisation of the works, as well as realise an interview to the authors of said works. The does not deliver of the work or the no follow-up of the same by extraneous causes to the professor, will be taken into account in the final note of the work.
COMPULSORY POINTS TO DEVELOP IN THE WORK OF INVESTIGATION:

3.- MAIN BODY OF THE WORK. Utilisation of graphic whenever it was possible for resumir a series of concepts chained.
50% of the final note will come from of an examination that will consist of two questions of development to choose an and an examination type test of twenty questions. If the majority of students prefers it, can change this evaluation by an oral examination to realise in convenient dates for each student.
50% remaining of the final note will come from of the works that the professor assign to the students. The exhibition of the work will be compulsory for the students so that the work mark in the final note. Besides, the content of the work will form part of the temario for the group of the class. The practices elaborated in class, and delivered in the next session, as well as the participation in class will value positively in the final note.

Summary: Along the last decades, the sector of the commercial distribution has experienced big changes that have had a repercussion in the city. The changes of commercial paradigms allow us speak of four phases differentiated in the commercial evolution. In each one of these phases, an urban space has prevailed on the rest of urban commercial spaces, generating some impacts on the trade, the territory and the society determined.
- Practical of Wal-Mart: the high cost of low prices
