The asignatura of New Technologies Applied to the Education is an asignatura compulsory of the plans of study for the obtaining of the title of teacher of any speciality. His descriptores are didactic resources and new technologies: utilisation in his distinct didactic applications, organisational and administrative. Utilisation of the main computer instruments and audiovisual.

This wide unit tackles one of the big novelties that in the educational world has brought the new tencnologías: the education on line or and-learning.
In a first block exposes what is internet, how works and which are his main services. To the web gives him greater importance for being the main service of internet today day. In all this exhibition does reference to the educational utility of these services. Besides, it poses the web 2.0 like a new form to understand internet, and poses the reflection on his educational application.
The second block is centred in the educational foundations of the education in network. First it poses the change of paradigm (in sense kuhniano) that supposes the education in network. The virtualidad allows communicative processes complexes and, therefore, can allow complete educational processes. To some extent the presencialidad no longer is necessary for the education, which supposes replantear (change of paradigm) the own concept of education. The module complete with the paper that plays professor and student in this new form of education and the phases that has the development of all a process of education-learning in network. The module concludes with a reflection on the advantages and problems of the education in network, especially in his application to basic educational levels like the childish education and the primary education.
The third and fourth block centre in the own educational technology of the education in network. First with the definition, functions and use of the virtual surroundings of learning. It exposes Moodle like example of virtual surroundings of open and free learning.
The last module centres in the education distributed, the objects of learning and the need to develop and use educational standards to be able to share of open way all the educational material to world-wide level (interoperatividad and packed). It exposes an overview of SCORM and IMS Global Learning Consortium.
In this unit expose the foundations and applications of the education asisitida by computer, that is to say, those processes of education-learning realised with help of computer programs.
In a first part expose concrete educational applications of programs of common use like the processor of text and the leaf of calculation. They expose his advantages in regard to previous technology.
In a second part comment the main types of educational programs. These go from the tutoriales until the simulators and the programs of author, that allow to the professor create his own applications. They comment also programs more specific like the language Logo.
At the end it poses a general reflection on the advantages of the use of the computing in the process of education-learning and on his problems, so much for the student as for the professor. The session finalises with proposals to minimise these problems.

Social and educational importance of the new technologies.
This subject is a first contact with the new technologies. It splits of his scientific definition and develops by means of the reflection on his social and educational impact. They present different popular affirmations on the technology with the idea of reflexionar on them.
In this unit presents , first, the social frame in that we situate us at present and the importance that the new technologies have he. Such is his importance that characterise it in front of previous societies (industrial society, agricultural society,etc.). It presents the Society of the Knowledge like a more developed level of able society no only to assimilate the sobreabundancia of information that generates in the society, but also to produce knowledge. It explains the need to arrive to the Society of the Knowledge and the strategic paper that plays in this process the education in general, and the correct use of the technology in particular.
In the following section presents the concept of didactic Model like abstraction of the process of education learning. They present the main didactic model framed in three groups: models centred in the professor, centred in the student, and the models centred in the process. It shows the use that do of the technology. They develop two especially. First the behavioural model, that conceives the education like a modelado of behaviours based in stimulus and reinforcement. It presents the machine to teach like implementation of the behavioural model and antecedent of the current systems hipermediales. Second the model cognitivista, and his variant in the constructivist model, that conceives the learning like creation by part of the student of his own knowledge. It explains especially the theory of S. Papert The construccionismo and his relation with the new technologies, the start of the Artificial Intelligence and the creation of the language Logo.
This wide unit collects, in the first place, the technical foundations of the computing: from the parts of an orderly and the explanation of what is a program, until the digital representation of image, video, audio and text.
Second it tackles how create an audiovisual. From the generation of the idea until the filmación final, going through the creation of the literary script, of the technical script and of the story board.
Afterwards the subject centres in the communication multimedial digital: after defining what is multimedia, explains the semantic capacity of each one (image, text, voice and music) and his correct combination to generate a speech multimedial educational. They explain the phases of creation of a multimedia: design, production and evaluation.
